Everyone was so accommodating and wait times were less than half an hour. Dr. Allis was very helpful and made me feel at ease about my situation. Kathy Harlan administered my hearing test and went above and beyond to help me out since I had unique situation. I would highly recommend this office!

Dr. Terah Allis is a board certified Otolaryngology-Head and Neck surgeon and diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology. Her clinical interests include adults and children with tonsillitis, allergies, sinusitis, snoring, and ear disorders.
Dr. Allis is originally from Northern Michigan, attended Hillsdale College graduating summa cum laude, top five of her class with a bachelor of science in biology and a minor in chemistry. While completing her undergraduate degree she assisted in basic science research at Walter Reed Army Institute.
Dr. Allis then attended Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC and obtained her MD, graduating with honors, cum laude. She was inducted into the prestigious honor society Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) which distinguishes the top 10% of medical students while at Georgetown medical school. Dr. Allis completed her Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery residency at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. During residency she completed numerous research projects and received many awards. Her latest publication in the esteemed journal, Laryngoscope, regarding bone anchored hearing aids, was featured in April 2014.
When Dr. Allis is not in the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and two small children at the beach.

Dr. Allis seemed to be smirking at me the whole visit, while smiling at the assistant in the room. It was as if they had some inside joke at my expense. Very odd and made me very uncomfortable. On top of it, Dr. Allis didn't make any recommendations about how to treat my sinus issue. She just laid out a couple options but then just shrugged and said I needed to pick which treatment to do, based on the 1 or 2 pros/cons she gave for each. Overall her bedside manner was very condescending, disrespectful and immature.

Dr. Allis is a very kind and thorough ENT specialist. I saw her for recent ringing in my ears, and I was able to see and audiologist for a hearing test and Dr. Allis on the same day, both in the same office. Dr. Allis was able to look at the results that same day and put me on a treatment plan. Thanks Dr. Allis!
