Dr. Irons is very thorough. He checks my chart before hand so he knows what he's coming in to do and also knows my history. His exam covers everything to make sure I'm ok and for him to refer me to the right outside Dr. Dr. Irons is an outstanding Dr that knows about the various areas of illnesses. Dr. Terry Irons received his Bachelor of Science with High Distinction from the University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona, in 1971. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1975 from the University Of Arizona School Of Medicine. Dr. Irons completed his Family Practice Residency training at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital in 1978.
Dr. Irons has been Board Certified in Family Medicine since 1978 and maintains current recertification status. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Irons also is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians and the Arizona Medical Association.
Dr. Irons was born in La Ceiba, Honduras, Central America, to parents serving in the missionary field. He has participated in local church choirs and continues to love music and singing. Dr. Irons enjoys bass fishing and boating. He also loves computer games, especially flight simulators. He has been married for 37 years and has two children and three grandchildren. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family as well as his Great Dane and English Cocker Spaniel.
Dr Terry Irons is alum of the University of Arizona College of Medicine and has been practicing as a Family Physician in Arizona for more than 30 years. Dr Irons is a board certified family physician and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

There was a long wait. Appointments don't mean anything. My appt was at 6:45, I arrived at 6:30 to do the paperwork, I wasn't seen by the nurse until 7:15, and the doctor didn't see me until 7:40.

Dr. Irons is actually awesome. He’s very well-informed. He explains everything well and walks you through everything that’s going on and breaks down details and instructions well. He is also gentle and polite. My first Pap smear was actually a delightful. I left his office wider and healthier. MyDrNow, as a franchise can have long wait times but it wasn’t anything excessive, and Dr. Irons is great.

Front desk personnel was not kind and was unaware that I needed to schedule a follow up. Nurses did not relay all information to the doctor. Doctor appeared unsure of how to treat a cat bite that it was in the midst of healing.

I would definitely recommend Dr Irons and the nursing staff at MYDRNOW. Though they do take most insurances, my daughter and I are uninsured, but their prices are more than reasonable. They even have their own monthly program you can get if you plan on seeing the Dr. regularly which cuts those already very reasonable costs down significantly! Also, I was able to get an appointment for my 6day old daughter the same day I called for her newborn wellness visit. I had been having a very difficult time finding a pediatrician for her that 1) accepted self pay, 2) could get her in right away, and 3) had experience and good reviews. At MYDRNOW I found that and more. They cover everything from wellness visits and physicals to illness and injury, and from newborns to seniors. The nurses were knowledgeable, caring, and attentive, and the Dr. was thorough and answered all 500+ questions from this new mom. And this was a 7:20 pm appointment. They didn't rush, or act in anyway like they were trying to get finished so they could go home. They have awesome hours, 8a-8p, and numerous locations throughout the valley. Whether you need a check up, a physical, or you are sick or injured I highly recommend calling Dr. Irons and the awesome staff of MYDRNOW. Thank you so much!

My apt. was at 6:15, I showed up early in the hopes that they would be able to see me sooner. I arrived at 4:50 and was called back and vitals were taken about 10 min after sitting in the lobby( which i didn't mind.) They MA called me back took my vitals and i sat in the room for over an hour and a half to be seen.... FOR REFILLS.

Normally my wait time to be seen at a scheduled apt. Is an hour or more. What I don't understand is that when I do go into the office I have to come later in the evening due to my work schedule. On my last visit with Terry Irons, my apt was at 6:20pm. I wasn't called back until 7:10pm and Dr. Irons didn't come into my room until 7:50pm. When I schedule my appointments I use the pt. portal . I explain what the reason for my visit is and if I need refills on medication so he and the medical staff is aware of why I am in the office. When I finally get called back I get asked the same question as to why I am here, so explain again what the reason for my visit is for. Then the MA. Takes me to my room and I wait about 45-50 min before my dr. Comes into the room to be asked the same questions and then he is completly clueless as to why I'm in the office. I'm not sure if it was just a bad day he was having but I was not satisfied with the care from him nor his staff. I am a certified medical assistant and it's just frustrating to know that this is how pts are being treated. Not to mention that I have two insurances and they always seems to be confusion as to which is my primary and secondary and now I am receiving bills and claims for this that were billed incorrectly. I will be looking for a new primary care dr.
