Verified Patient Reviews
Dr. Irons actively listened to all my symptoms, he showed interest and sincere concern in every matter I addressed with him.
Found doctor through search results for anxiety. Doc asked a few general questions but didn't seem interested in reason for visit. Kept saying he wasn't a psychiatrist and only a family doctor over and over. Waste of time and money
I made an appointment and was kept waiting for 2 hours.
He was nice and really made me feel comfortable
Dr. Irons is a compassionate thorough physician who listens well and cares about his patients
Terrible wait time.
He was very thorough and attentive.
Terribly long waiting time. Just for a refill it took over an hour.
My apt. was at 6:15, I showed up early in the hopes that they would be able to see me sooner. I arrived at 4:50 and was called back and vitals were taken about 10 min after sitting in the lobby( which i didn't mind.) They MA called me back took my vitals and i sat in the room for over an hour and a half to be seen.... FOR REFILLS.
Long waiting time. Over an hour.
Long waiting time. Over an hour just for a prescription refill.
The entire staff was efficient, friendly and professional.
Unacceptable waiting time. Should not take over an hour for a prescription refill.
I make an appointment week ahead I sit for two hour Last month I did walk in In and out within 30 min We have more to do then sit around waiting for an appointment that I should been out wishing the hour I was about to walk out My patience are so minimum with the wait time I am looking elsewhere where
Normally my wait time to be seen at a scheduled apt. Is an hour or more. What I don't understand is that when I do go into the office I have to come later in the evening due to my work schedule. On my last visit with Terry Irons, my apt was at 6:20pm. I wasn't called back until 7:10pm and Dr. Irons didn't come into my room until 7:50pm. When I schedule my appointments I use the pt. portal . I explain what the reason for my visit is and if I need refills on medication so he and the medical staff is aware of why I am in the office. When I finally get called back I get asked the same question as to why I am here, so explain again what the reason for my visit is for. Then the MA. Takes me to my room and I wait about 45-50 min before my dr. Comes into the room to be asked the same questions and then he is completly clueless as to why I'm in the office. I'm not sure if it was just a bad day he was having but I was not satisfied with the care from him nor his staff. I am a certified medical assistant and it's just frustrating to know that this is how pts are being treated. Not to mention that I have two insurances and they always seems to be confusion as to which is my primary and secondary and now I am receiving bills and claims for this that were billed incorrectly. I will be looking for a new primary care dr.
Dr. irons is great. He always is very through and caring. He reminds me of my father. He was reccemended to me by a friend and I'm glad I started coming here.
Love the dr!!!! But the wait times are a bit ridiculous.
Doctor was good while understanding the problem The medicines he gave does not work well for me. I am thinking whether to take a follow up or see another doctor.
Terry is always very helpful and he takes care of his patients. Some of his medical assistants can be unprofessional at times but besides the long waiting time I am always satisfied with my treatment
Dr was aces!
Dr. Terry was very kind.
I got there on time. The receptionist said I was late and scheduled for 6:45 even though Zocdoc said 6:55 on the site and text messages. I was also told I was supposed to get there early, but NOBODY called or communicated this to me at all.
Working in the medical field the only thing I can complain about is the wait time for this office, but I can't give mydrnow too hard of a time because walk ins are welcome for this clinic. I did wait over an hour and a half to see Dr.Irons, BUT it was well worth the wait. He is an A+ provider with genuine patient care . He took his time with me as he usually does and asked detailed questions. Dr.Terry Irons Is my "HOUSE". Thanks to him and his treatment plan for me, I will be able to start feeling better soon. After trying doctor after doctor for the past 5 years for my health issue, I have found a doctor that has restored my faith in genuine medical care. Thank you Dr.Irons and Staff at Mydrnow ?????
He is pleasant and knowledgeable but seems in a hurry. He was frustrated when something on his worksheet seemed wrong. I'm not sure he really had the time to listen and understand me.
I was a bit apprehensive to see Dr Irons only because of some of the reviews left on this website. My experience was very pleasant. I felt he took the time to listen to my concerns, and he gave me some good advice. He encouraged me to come back any time I need medical attention. I got my labs done quickly, and I felt happy with my whole experience. The wait time for my appointment was not "right away" but it was less than 20 minutes which I find to be reasonable.
Dr. Irons has such incredible bedside manner and the ability to make his patients feel welcome, comfortable, and important. The wait is of no fault of his own might I add and to be honest, to see him I do not mind at all! I have such difficulty with new doctors and have been coming here for a few years with Dr. Williams-Vaughn (also amazing) but unfortunately an emergency situation cause me to need a visit with Dr. Irons...boy was I nervous! Immediately once he walked in I felt at ease and as though he honestly cared...I was just another insurance claim but a real person with real concerns. Thank you Dr. Irons for being an incredible physician and caring as much as you do, it means so much more to your patients than you may ever know. I am happy to say now that I am a full-time patient of My Doctor Now, all thanks to the amazing Dr.Irons and Dr.Williams-Vaughn.
The visit was timely, thorough and professional
Dr. Irons is very knowledgable and friendly. He listened to my issue and provided appropriate empathy and advice. He gave me a solid solution for why I came to see him. Highly recommended.
I booked with this Dr. because it didn't show he had any appts. They told me to be there 15 min. early, I was. They put me in a room and said the Dr. will be right in. After I asked, did he finally show up and gave the excuse that I'm busy. Well, I work and I'm busy too! He maybe spent 30 secs with me.
This had to be the worst experience I've ever had with a care provider. He asked me several questions three times each, I asked for ibuprofen for swelling I've had in my foot due to a recent bout of cellulitis and his reaction was as if I was asking for a heavy narcotic, and when he said my foot was infected, I told him I'd seen a specialist. He wanted to know why I wasn't xrayed, why I wasn't given antibiotics, told me to go straight to the ER, asked me all those questions a couple more times. He really made me feel like I had done something wrong. It was an awful, awful experience. I wouldn't send my dying enemy to him for treatment. Stay away!!!!!
Wonderful office staff, medical assistant, and Doctor!!!!!
My appointment went very well, the doctor and his staff were all polite and showed they cared.
Waiting time is beyond unacceptable.
Caring knowledgeable Dr
I chose my dr now as a place I might find a decent pcp. Some of the doctors had really good reviews, so even though it was weird to go to a doctor's office that seemed more like a chain of stores, I needed to address some serious health issues, before they got dangerous. I chose Dr. Janet Pragit as my pcp. She had the best reviews out of anyone, especially for being warm, kind, caring, and spending a lot of time getting to know her patients. She was none of those things. None. She was about as warm as an ice cube. Yes, I had multiple complaints, and i realize doctors aren't really in the business of caring for the sick any more, but she was so dismissive, and so adamant about my only addressing 2 complaints and that was it. I hate that. It is no way to be treated. You're being treated as whatever is wrong with you, instead of as a whole human being who has needs, What was the use of treating my back pain, if you didn't treat my diabetes first? She was awful. Dr. Irons was easily as bad. First, he looked and sounded just exhausted. He has kind of a whiny, breathy voice, and that added to how tired he sounded. He was also dismissive, and seemed bored, and just like Dr. Pragit, he wanted not to do anything at all, and just let my regular doctor deal with it. I'm changing insurance as of next month, and I look forward to being in a plan that gives me more options
They said zocdoc was glitching and did not keep my appointment.Although I got a text reminder from zocdoc of the appointment. I had to wait from 6pm till 9pm and they forgot to send out my sample now i have to miss work and go again. I have bills to pay!
Long wait, Dr. was not knowledgeable about pre-travel prescriptions, vaccinations. Googling meds and vaccines on phone during visit.
Ok..did not like the wait
Arrived on time for my appointment, but had to wait for him to return from lunch and still see 2 patients before me even though I had an appt. When I finally did see him, it was pointless. He offered no guidance on how to resolve pain or issues. He wasn't personable or helpful. He didn't listen to what I was saying, ask follow up questions or give suggestions. I won't be returning to him ever again or giving recommendations to see him. I paid to see a doctor and get help; instead, I wasted 2.5 hours, got no advice or help, and left very discouraged following my experience.
good doc will be back
I was glad that I was able to get in on such short notice
I really liked Dr. Irons because of how he explains what's wrong with you well. I'm an engineer, and it's really nice to have my health issues laid out technically, but I have no doubt he'd do well explaining stuff at a nontechnical level if you like that. I ask a lot of questions when doctors prescribe me things, and he answered them all awesomely. My only complaint is the wait time is a little long during the week, but weekend wait times are great.
Great for my first visit. We have a lot to cover in the next few visits to get Dr. Irons up-to-speed with my health challenges.
Its was okay, not what i expected. It looked very "corporate" the wait was long. I dont think ill be going back
Difficult to understand ( mumbled with back turned to patient. ) Shaky hands while removing stitches!
I will never ever recommend this place
The most awful experience ihave ever had. They have also frozen my wife's blood work... Disgusting
Gentle but rushed
He is a very nice doctor, however the wait time is fairly unreasonable. The TVs in the waiting rooms make it a little easier, however I watched four, 30-minute episodes of different cooking shows on the Food Network before I was seen. Then, he spent 5 minutes with me before I was able to leave.
Dr. Irons is detailed, professional and caring.
the wait was too long they seemed understaffed. he could have said something to my twelve year old daughter before pulling up her shirt to touch her belly
Very polite and professional
He was great, I don't have insurance and he was great. . Thank you doc! !!! Will be back
I felt terry Irons and his pa service was sufficient and they were professional unfortunately I was in a fowl mood due to the 1:35 min I spent watching them take 3 walk ins before my schedule and confirmed 3:00 appointment I was there for smiple yearly. Physcial Safe to say I would not recommend them to anyone
Excellent, highly professional and very thorough examination.
Really nice guy and he makes sure you understand everything
his diagnosis was confusing he told me one thing then told me that wasn't accurate
Very nice and friendly, It was my first time to visit him and as soon as he walked in to our room, he mad me feel comfortable when he greeted us like he knows us before; My kids liked him. He also sounds so very knowledgeable and professional. He knew exactlly about my pain, the medicine he perscribe worked saved me from pain and gave me my health back. Thank you so much!!! I will continue to be his patient. :)
Very professional and caring
Lacked compassionate demeanor. I was a number not a person.
every time I come in my appointment that should take 5 minutes, takes over an hour. I don't plan on going back... I gave them 3 trys...
I like Dr. Terry Irons, I decided he was a good fit to be my primary doctor.
Place was dirty. Dead flies in the lights, chips in the paint, toilet seat wasn't properly attached. 45 min wait just so I could wait for 1.5 hours in a patient room. Didn't assist me when I moved around, even though I was there for vertigo, and couldn't easily walk. No tables in waiting room, so I had to attempt to stay standing while filling out forms. Doctor and nurses were friendly.
The receptionist called me the day before to come in early, just to have me wait two hours.
He seems to be genially concerned with finding the problem and fixing it .over all very professional and caring
My visit was not as quick as I would have liked it to be with an appointment. The staff was excellent and friendly. My doctor was a little standoffish and very short with his words. I just didn't feel as if he wanted to help. He just HAD to.
Dr Irons is very straight forward and no frills. Pleasant without being overly friendly. Answers all questions and provides solid information/explanations which is a plus.
I went for routine follow up bloodwork for my thyroid. I had to make an appointment, wait forever, pay a copay and all that just for bloodwork. I was told it would take a week for the results. I waited about 10 days and started emailing and leaving messages. 2 weeks later I'm told I have to make an appointment and go in to get my results. REALLY??? So I go in, wait almost 2 hours, pay a copay, just for my test results. I was totally terrified that he was going to tell me I needed to have an ultrasound or be evaluated for cancer or something. Nope. Just my results. Never, ever again. total waste of time and money. Stay away!!!
Waited entirely to long to see Dr, considering I had an appt.
