I went to see Dr Thao for a pap smear. I'm a trauma survivor and she was extremely kind about it, doing the procedure by herself without an assistant so that the number of people in the room would be as few as possible. She let my partner come back with me and checked in with me frequently and explained what she was doing every step of the way. She was so nice and understanding and helped make the process as painless as possible. I would definitely see her again.

Dr. Thao Nguyen chose medicine as her profession after experiencing a bout of illness that mystified the top doctors at a famous east coast hospital. Dr. Thao felt desperate being treated in a medical system that seemed mechanical in its approach. She felt her doctors probed and prodded but never stopped long enough to understand her symptoms or fears. She and her doctors grew hopeless as each successive test result returned with no answers. Through this experience, Dr. Nguyen promised to never give up on her patients, to always look for another way. This promise would launch her onto a path of exploration to discover that we are more than flesh and bone.
By conventional measures, Dr. Nguyen excelled in her medical training. She graduated with honors from UC Davis School of Medicine, and served as chief resident at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco. However, she became deeply saddened as she sat with patients who were afflicted with chronic illnesses. She often felt, “my patients are “stuck” and the medications I give them imprison them more!”
At this time Dr. Nguyen met two esteemed healers, Donna Eden and Scott Walker. They showed her how to work with the human energy vital force, and our emotional network. Physical symptoms sometimes dissolved in minutes using their healing methods.
