Kim-Thê Tran is a certified Physician Assistant born in Fort Worth, TX and raised in Port Arthur, a small town in Southeast Texas. She returned to DFW and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas, at Arlington. Kim-Thê is a 2018 graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore Physician Assistant Program, where she also earned a degree in Master of Science in Health Science.
As native Texan, she entered PA school with the intention of returning to DFW to serve her community. Her interest in dermatology began when she was working as a Medical Assistant for Dr. Hoang during her undergraduate studies.
Kim-Thê spent the last two years practicing in General Surgery, but knew that she wanted to end up in dermatology ultimately. She is happy to be back at UDA as a provider and looks forward to making a positive difference in patients' lives by helping them look and feel their best.
In her free time, Kim-Thê enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She finds cooking and creating Vietnamese authentic meals therapeutic, but even more gratifying when it is shared with family. She is pleasantly surprised by her green thumb and a very proud plant mom.
