Dr. Schreiber received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College. He did his internship and residency at the New York Hospital- Cornell Medical Center. He was a Clinical Fellow in Cardiology at the New York Hospital (1981-1984), and Interventional Cardiology Fellow at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, MI. (1988-1990)
He is currently Clinical Chief of Cardiovascular Disease at Harper University Hospital and Vice-President of Cardiovascular Development of the Detroit Medical Center.
Dr. Scheiber is a renowned coronary, peripheral and carotid interventionalist. Particular clinical and research interests include percutaneous valve repair, high risk coronary intervention, and carotid stenting with numerous peer-review publications in these areas.
He has functioned as Chief or Vice-Chief of cardiology variously at all three major interventional programs in the Detroit metropolitan area and has trained many of the practicing interventional cardiologists in the area.
