Dr. Bacaris resides on Long Island with her husband Patrick of 31 years, her grown daughter and son in law, one dog, and two cats. Dr. Bacarisenjoys artistic painting, recreational fishing with her family, vacationing in Disney World as a longstanding member of the Disney Vacation Club, and visiting with extended family in Greece.
Dr. Bacaris has been serving the Long Island Community for 36 years and has now joined the practice of Sound Vision Care, Inc. Dr. Bacaris is a family-oriented practitioner and utilizes cutting edge technology in providing her patients with optimal vision care and eye health.
Dr. Bacaris attended undergraduate school at New York City Technical College and Queens College, where she received her Associate in Applied Sciences and Bachelor of Science Degrees, graduating with Cum Laude honors; she obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in 1987; furthermore, Dr. Bacaris worked as a licensed optician prior to obtaining her doctorate, and is knowledgeable in using her technical skills for eyewear fitting and adjusting.
Dr. Bacaris's goal continues to be that of building long-term doctor-patient relationships, by providing her patients with the utmost eye care in a safe and friendly environment.
