First, delighted to get an appointment same day I asked for it. Dr. Stone takes time, communicates very well, demonstrates sincere interest in me, the patient, as a person. She carefully explained what the suspicious lump in question might be, what it probably was, and how we were going to proceed to find out for sure. She was fully informative, yet reassuring. Inspired confidence.

Visit was nice and the Dr. Stone was very personable and made me feel relaxed. I waited almost 2 hrs to see her, which caused my visit to seem a bit rushed since I had to catch my bus at a specific time; all in all it was good. What I didn't like was that I completed my check in paper work online and when I got to the office they had no record of anything I input and I had to be asked those questions all over again. This made things a little cumbersome and would have sped things up if this was captured prior to my visit. Looking forward to a better visit next time.

I had to wait 2 hours from the time of my appointment to the time I saw the doctor. I was, however, told that the wait time would be long and that I could reschedule if I preferred. But since I was already there, I held out. Dr. Stone has a great bedside manner, and patiently talked me through every question I had. Really enjoyed having so much time with her.

I am always nervous to see new doctors having had some bad experiences in the past. I was long overdue for a physical and check up and Dr Stone was incredible. Compassionate, easy to talk to. She really took time to get to know me and address my concerns. I was so happy when I left!

I have never had a doctor's appointment like that before. Dr. Thompson took her time and gave me advice and she was just overall warm, personable, and authentic. i imagine that her manner of work resembles the way in which doctors worked when they made home visits. I will return to her and I recommend her to patients who want a doctor who is both knowledgeable of her/his field and exudes authenticity.

The wait was long, but worth it in the end. Dr. Stone was extremely personable, thorough, and listened to each concern. Her recommendations were based off of her medical expertise, but also by learning my personal life/personality.

Dr. Stone was great. She is very knowledgeable and attentive. She takes the time to explain her diagnosis, the likely causes and treatment in laymen terms. At first I was taken aback by how friendly she was. She hugged me at the end of the appointment and I am not a hugger. She is someone I would have befriend if I has met her in a different situation.

Extremely disappointed with the office's follow up procedures regarding lab tests. The Doctor (nor any nurse) failed to call to update patient regarding tests done during the appointment, even after knowing that follow up tests had been scheduled based on the results of initial tests. This is after repeated calls/messages to the office and assurances from staff that the matter will be solved before second round of tests. Reconsidering making this doctor my primary care physician after the lack of care and concern from staff.

Dr. Stone is AMAZING! I've been living in DC for 3 years and I would travel home to MA just to see my internist up there. My MA Internist told me it was about time to find a Dr down here in DC and stop flying up there every I needed an appointment. LUCKILY I was recommended to Dr. Stone through physicians whom I currently work for! I absolutely love Dr. Stone! She is patient, kind, to-the-point, and very nice. She understood how skeptical I was about seeing someone new because I had the same physician for over 10 years, but she took very good care of me! I'm happy to say I found my DC Internist and I would HIGHLY recommend her!
