About Dr. Thomas Corona

Thomas Corona Jr., DPM is a podiatric physician and surgeon in practice since 2023. Dr. Corona achieved his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT. He then went on to attend Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, FL. While at Barry University, Dr. Corona was very active in leadership. He was elected by his peers to serve as President of the American Podiatric Medical Student Association, the terminal leadership position for podiatry students nationwide. Upon graduation in 2021 with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Corona commenced a rigorous three-year surgical residency at Jackson South Medical Center, serving as the chief resident of the program in his final year. During residency, Dr. Corona trained in all subspecialties of Podiatric Medicine with an emphasis on foot & ankle trauma. He has experience in cutting edge surgical techniques such as minimally invasive bunion surgery, total ankle replacements, as well as additional experience with orthopedic, trauma, plastic, and vascular surgeons. Dr. Corona is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Florida Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Corona speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
