Not a long wait. Staff is very friendly and helpfoul. Dr. Fry was very attentive, listened and was able to provide importation information and knew exactly how to proceed. Very happy with visit.

Dr. Fry is an Orthopedic Surgeon dedicated to returning his patients to their normal activates at home, work, and play. He considers it a privilege to help people with their problems.
He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH).
Born and raised in Central Ohio he graduated from the University of Notre Dame and then Ohio State University College of Medicine. He served in the United States Army for over 10 years during which time he completed an internship in Hawaii and an orthopedic residency in Denver, Colorado. He served as chief of the department of surgery including Orthopedics, General surgery, Podiatry, and Physical Therapy at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
Dr. Fry then completed a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami in Florida where he spent time at the University Hospital, Children’s Hospital, and the Veterans Hospital. He then served as Chief of the Hand and Upper Extremity Service in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery (where his responsibilities included teaching upper extremity surgery) at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii prior to moving to Denver in 1988 with his wife and 2 children.
Dr. Fry has been serving the Northwest side of Denver and Boulder for over 25 years, specializing in trauma and reconstructive surgery in the entire upper extremity including shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand and fingers. He provides consultations, second opinions, and independent medical evaluations as well as surgical and nonsurgical treatment. He continues to enjoy teaching young men and women about orthopedics and upper extremity medicine.

Terrific Doctor and practice. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and Dr Fry is very thorough, experienced, takes time to really understand what's going on. He was able to help me take care of my tennis elbow problem without surgery and did an excellent job of removing a cyst in a very delicate location on my son's wrist.

I have seen Dr Fry for over 20 years for all my hand, arm and shoulder problems. He has done several injections and surgeries for myself and a few for my husband. I am lucky our insurance has worked with Colorado Hand and Arm for all these years. I will miss him once my husband retires and we don't carry the same insurance anymore. He is by far my favorite surgeon!

Dr Fry was quite affable and easy to work with. Also he seemed to be able to translate Doctor talk into regular person talk extremely well and his ability to sketch the bones in a hand upside down (to him) so the patient could make sense of the big names for bones was really above the pale. Great visit.

I waited for around an hour before seeing the doctor. Once he was in it was rather quickly diagnosed and I had a brace and was out the door. The receptionists were wonderful and tracked down my referral for physical therapy that hadn't been given to me from either doc or nurse. All around great staff!
