Typically you are seen right away. Dr Scilaris has taken good care of me during my workers comp claim. He is always able to answer questions and well equipped to handle my neurotic questions regarding my injury. (I basically come into each appointment with a list in my head of what to ask.) There have been times where I have had longer waits in the office and it can start to feel like a Worker's Comp/Injury factory, but this has only happened on two occasions for me. I also had a few appointments early on with a different doctor in the practice after my initial consultation with Dr Scilaris. This was confusing and caused a small amount of inconsistency in the treatment. Overall I rate Dr. Scilaris very highly. I am still in the process of healing and will continue to see him.

The actual time spent with the doctor was good... he was attentive and informative, and getting an x-ray was fast and painless. But the waiting room was hot and so crowded that not everyone had seats, the wait was more than 30 minutes, and the office wasn't taking credit cards and could only accept exact change for a cash payment.

Dr. Scilaris was wonderful. He was attentive, honest, and provided me with options. They took an x-ray on my knee and also analyzed the results within 15 minutes!

I did not have to wait at all. I came on time and Dr. Capiola (Dr. Scilaris' partner) saw me right away. He is an expert in the field and took the time to explain my knee and shoulder injuries and my different options to improve both. In addition, he also took the time to refer and schedule an appointment with an optomologist for me for something unrelated. I would highly recommend Dr. Capiola.

After waiting for a bit in the crowded waiting room, I had a great visit with Dr. Scilaris. He was professional, explained his thoughts thoroughly, and did a thorough job investigating my issues with ex-rays and questions. Definitely glad I scheduled with him!

Dr. Scilaris was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered my questions and was personable. My issue is with the office. It is overbooked with patients, there was no place to even sit and disorganized. The waiting time is frustrating.

However, too busy if you need anything after you leave the Office.
When calling him from the pharmacy, same day of our appt. to ask if we can substitute a prescription item, as insurance would not cover it, still waiting over an 1 hr. The Office said the Dr. cannot be interrupted until he finishes seeing his patients.

Feedback is really important when you are relying on the internet to find a doctor. I picked Dr. Scilaris based solely on the feedback I read. It was very helpful and honest. The office staff are professional and friendly, and Dr. Scilaris is the best as far as I'm concerned. He takes his time and explains things to you so that you understand exactly what is going on in your body.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Scilaris to others and to you looking for a doctor on ZocDoc.

The office staff welcomed me in a friendly and efficient manner, and I was taken early as I had arrived quite early for my appointment. Dr. Scilaris examined my ankle and explained my condition clearly and counselled me on the way forward. I especially liked that he listened to my priorities and offered solutions that suit my particular circumstances. I consider this quite an ideal doctor experience!
