“Well I did not have the appointment with Dr. Ortiz but the physicians assistant. I was not made aware of this when I made the appointment. The PA was great but gave the experience 4 stars because it wasn't with the doctor and therefore cannot really rate the doctor.
However...I was extremely grateful to be seen and taken care of right away. For that I give 5 stars. I was in a lot of pain and was taken care of. This morning I woke up and I have no pain. The first in about 3 weeks.”

I was notified prior to my appointment that I would be seen by Rob Caldera, the PA, and not Dr. Ortiz. I informed them that it was okay. When I arrived at the New City, NY office, I found the staff to be very efficient and friendly. Later, when Rob came in to see me, I found that he, too, was very friendly and was very thorough and excellent at his job. He inquired about my injury from a fall and ordered X-rays be taken. The one negative of my visit was that X-rays were unavailable at this location. I now have to go elsewhere to have them taken. Before I left, Rob also set up a telehealth follow-up conference with me in a few days to discuss the results of the X-rays; in addition, he discussed future physical therapy as well as ways to make me more comfortable as I recover.

What a great experience! After finishing a LOT of paperwork, the doctor saw me within 15 min. He was super thorough and explained everything really well. I needed an XRAY and the technician was wonderful. He came back in, explained what he found and what I should expect in regard to treatment and healing. He was nice and at the end made sure I didn't have any more questions before leaving.

I felt like the appointment was way too short; I spoke with Dr. Ortiz for only about two minutes, and I was given an expensive anti-inflammatory that they tried to ship to my address. I got the feeling that they were trying to milk insurance money out of me and treat me slowly.

He was nice and took his time to check my knee. I am highly satisfied,the only thing that I would have like to know is more about the recovery ( pills, exercices to get strength, tips...) I had to ask him to get them, altough I was very good informed. On top of it, he was a great proffetional that knows how to treat a pacient. I felt confortable and in good hands all the time.
