I grew up in Fridley, Minnesota a suburb of Minneapolis. I earned my undergrad degree in Biology at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Before attending the University of North Dakota for Medical school, I worked as a scribe and EMT in the Emergency Room at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. Most of my clinical rotations were in Fargo, North Dakota. I chose internal medicine because of the wide variety of patients I can work with and help.
My wife and I are excited to move to Colorado as we both love the outdoors doing activities such as hiking with our dog Levi, hunting, fishing, and camping. My other hobbies include hockey (typical Minnesotan), skiing, baseball, golf, football, trying new recipes to cook, and spending time with our family. When we can, we love to spend time at the lake, like so many Minnesotans do.
