About Thuy Nguyen
Ms. Nguyen is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She was born in Vietnam and moved to San Antonio, Texas, in 2009. She is fluent in English and Vietnamese. Ms. Nguyen obtained her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio) in 2016 and advanced her education by earning a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2022.
Prior to joining Castle Hills Family Practice, Ms. Nguyen gained valuable knowledge and experience providing quality and compassionate care to patients, with an emphasis on taking the time to address the unique needs and concerns of each patient while working at an outpatient VA clinic.
In her free time, Ms. Nguyen loves spending time with family, volunteering at her temple, and traveling.

I’ve been looking for a new primary care provider since my previous one moved out of state, and I’m glad I chose this office. Dr. Nguyen was patient and listened to all my concerns, and I never felt rushed like with other providers in the past. I’d highly recommend her!

My husband and I booked an anual physical exam (clearly stated in the appointment) and when answering questions that DR was asking they let us know at the end of our appointment that those questions were outside of our anual physical and we needed to pay for the visit.
