I'm Tiana Lavin (she/her), a Registered Dietitian based in San Diego, CA, specializing in diabetes care. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 21, and my personal journey with the condition has fueled my passion for helping others navigate their health with empathy and insight. I know firsthand how important it is to feel seen and supported, and I strive to create a non-judgmental space for my clients.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Clinical Nutrition from San Diego State University and became a Registered Dietitian through a rigorous academic and experiential path, made even more meaningful by my lived experience with diabetes. My approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and meeting each person where they are to foster sustainable health habits that align with their unique lifestyles. My dedication to diabetes care extends to building self-management skills, exploring diabetes technology like CGMs, and finding individualized solutions that feel empowering and accessible.
When I'm not working, I enjoy exploring the vibrant San Diego food scene, hiking along California's coastlines, and spending time with friends and family.
