Tiffany N. Nichter MSN, RN, RNC-OB, C-EFM is a new graduate CNM with substantial RN experience in inpatient high-risk OB labor and delivery.
In May 2018, Tiffany graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Coastal Georgia, Brunswick, Georgia, and in September 2022, she obtained a master's in nursing - Nurse Midwifery from the Frontier Nursing University, Hyden, Kentucky.
Tiffany has worked as a Birth Assistant, where she provided continuous labor support, assessed women for labor progress, offered non-pharmacologic comfort measures to assist the mother in coping with pain, and identified possible complications to ensure timely transfer of care to a medical facility when necessary. She has also worked as a Vaccination Registered Nurse at the LABCORP Employer Services, where she led an interprofessional team to run vaccination and health screening clinics.
Most recently, Tiffany worked as a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery Unit of Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, Maryland, where she provided antepartum and intrapartum nursing management of high-risk OB conditions such as diabetes, IUFD, hemorrhage, twin gestation, pre-eclampsia & hypertensive crisis, preventive & preterm delivery, cord prolapse, urgent/emergent cesarean deliveries and she also served as an OB Triage Nurse.
Tiffany’s Licenses and professional certifications include Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification, and Inpatient Obstetric Certification.
