The doctor has an awesome and comforting presence. I greatly appreciated his mind and body wellness approach. The office had a nice vibe and the staff were extremely effecient and friendly as well. (They have a cute office pet too). I will be seeing him again and would highly recommend his practice.

Dr. Tim has been committed to helping patients of all ages and with all manner of health conditions to lead healthier, fuller, lives since 1991.
Always current on new discoveries and techniques, he travels frequently to study and teach post-graduate courses.
Well respected in his profession and his community, he has held numerous positions in professional and charitable organizations.
Embodying an ethic of service, Dr. Merrick was a candidate for the New York State Senate in 2006, and in 2010 was appointed by the World Chiropractic Alliance to represent his profession at the United Nations in the Department of Public Information.
"Dr. Tim" began his career in Ridgefield, Connecticut where he founded Merrick Chiropractic & Healing Arts, PC offering specific upper cervical chiropractic care to very ill patients, many who travelled great distances to see Dr. Merrick's office for the results they were able to obtain there.
He left Connecticut in 1999 to practice in Toronto and Ottawa for two years before returning to the United States to open Living Well Chiropractic in Plattsburgh, NY where he emphasized family wellness care.
In August, 2008 He moved to NYC to open Alive & Well Chiropractic where his services address all aspects of a healthy lifestyle from spinal and nervous system correction and neuro- and bio-feedback to massage therapy, meditation, and diet.
Dr. Merrick, an authority in chiropractic applications of EEG and Neurofeedback, teaches seminars around the country to chiropractors on the subject.

Dr Tim was great. I really like his mind-body approach to chiropractic. The only reason I rated the wait time as 4 and not 5 stars is that ZocDoc does not provide customized templates for the info the office needed for me.
I am going to start using Dr. Tim as much as I can as my first visit really made a difference!
