Dr. Rider is an excellent Doctor. I saw one recent review from a patient, not to mention any names. She said that she went to dr. Rider for the same issue twice. He told her to see another Doctor. That is a sign of strength in a doctor, not a weakness. Doctors that send you to a specialist for particular symptoms are at the top of my list. He is thorough and insistent if he thinks you have an issue. I read recently in a local publication that he insisted that one patient see a dermatologist due to an odd looking mole. It is not the reason the patient was there, but Doctor Rider saved his life by noticing the oddity. See this doctor , I highly recommend him.

My experience with Dr. Rider is: He talks fast and barely allows you to finish a sentence. The real challenge is communicating with office staff. They can be a bit judgemental and sometimes forget this is a medical office for humans.

Comprehensive followup visit. With the extensive use of more clinical medical and pharmaceutical language, I think Dr. Rider assumes I know more than I do. I have to up my game. I fear it is a sign of the times, but visits seem so rushed. I should be OK with that, though. I have two major points of anxiety--bridges and doctor's appointments. Computers are a miracle when it comes to accumulating data but I lament that during the course of a visit, more time is devoted to input and checking boxes on a screen than actually looking at the patient. Maybe at some point, we could have the home technology to interface with a physician remotely and then I would be down to only one point of anxiety.
He's horrible. Second time I've gone asking for help for the same issue and both times he dismissed me, saying to go to another doctor. I will NOT be going back, ever.

Please coordinate your scheduling system better with their office as I set an appointment when there was a blocked time. Regarding the office, it is very old looking and dated. The front office staff is not the most friendly though. Check out was smooth.
I do not recommend this MD. Also, the office number says to make an appointment online and that is what I did. Then I came into the office as a "walk in" because apparently their system isn't set up to place online appointments on the schedule. They had a hard time getting my "chart" etc, even though I followed the directions on THEIR office number. I will never return. Poor bedside manners by everyone except one lady who worked with the lab specimens. This review is coming from an RN
Doc was great but I made an apt at 1 and the office didn't open until 1:30. When I said something all I got was I don't know what to tell you.

Dr. Rider is a little too technical. His description of issues is very clinical and difficult to understand by someone without medical training. A little more common term explanations would help the patient understand what the problem is.
He's very nice and friendly

DR. RIDER IS PLEASANT & EASY TO TALK TO. I FOUND HIM TO BE EXTREMELY COMPETENT, ASKING NUMEROUS QUESTIONS REGARDING MY PAST HEALTH CONCERNS. HE READ MANY OF MY REPORTS WHILE I WAS WITH HIM & ASKED ME QUESTIONS REGARDING THE RESULTS OF THE TESTS. MY VISIT WAS A GOOD ONE & I LEFT WITH A FEELING OF CONFIDENCE THAT DR. RIDER WOULD BE BOTH COMPASSIONATE & EMPATHTIC & EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE.

Timely, thorough, and helpful.
MY OVERALL OPINION OF MY VISIT WAS AWESOME. EVERYONE HAD SMILES AND A WARM GREETING. PLUS IT WAS FAST ESPECIALLY WITH REFERRALS.

Office was extremely busy. Receptionist was not aware the appointment had been booked on line. Over an hour wait to be seen for less than 10 minutes. Too short a time to give a fair appraisal. Front receptionist does a good job covering all the interruptions.
Very professional and knowledgeable.
Quick and thorough
