Dr. Sapp is a wonderful doctor who takes the time to listen to your needs and concerns. As others have said, he just doesn't write you a prescription and send you on your way after a 5 minute conversation. He is always running 15-20 minutes behind, but since he takes his time with each patient, I don't mind. I would definitely recommend him!

Dr. Timothy Sapp was born and raised in Hawkinsville, Georgia. After attending public high school, he completed undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia in Athens. Dr. Sapp graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a B.S. Degree in Biology.
Dr. Sapp attended the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, completing his MD Degree. He completed his residency training at the William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute in Columbia, South Carolina with extensive elective work in emergency psychiatry, substance abuse, and community mental health.
Dr. Sapp joined the staff at Tidelands/Gateway Community Service Board in Savannah, Georgia where he served as Psychiatrist, MD covering the adult outpatient clinics and partial hopitalization program including:
Substance abuse patients.
The continuum of day programming services for adults including day treatment, day support, and peer support.
Patients in developmentally disabled programs.
During this time, Dr. Sapp was commended by Medicaid auditors for his treatment of patients with schizophrenia and also served as Treasurer for the Medical Executive Committee.
Upon moving to Arizona, Dr. Sapp worked for Value Options of Arizona/Magellan Health Care in Phoenix where he covered adult outpatient clinics and psychiatric urgent care. He also worked with Recovery Innovations of Arizona treating emergency patients and also providing inpatient psychiatric care.
Dr. Sapp is presently seeing adult patients in a new private practice office that is centrally located to residents of the metro-Phoenix area.

He was great until he disappeared and left his patients with no explanation other than a cold voicemail message from his mom saying "this office is closed". I thought I had finally found a Dr I was comfortable with, now I'm starting from square one and all without the anxiety meds I so greatly rely upon.

Dr. Sapp is very sincere and genuinely kind. I also really appreciated that he educated me on the different options of medication I would possibly be on so I felt comfortable taking it! The wait was long but my session ended up being long too without me even noticing because he is so easy to talk to and I genuinely think he really wants to know what he can do to help you!

I have been seeing him, for a year. Was able to email through ZocDoc and he answered my questions, and got me in within 10 days, where I had been told by other Dr's that there would be a 2 month wait, and they would provide little information on their services. Dr. Sapp listened to my concerns, and was able to help, were other medical professionals had feel short.
Very upfront and a pleasant Doctor who shows an interest in his patients needs.

I love Dr. Sapp. Since I’ve been seeing him, my relationships with my family have drastically improved, especially with my mom. Dr. Sapp really gets what I’m saying. Its the questions that he asks that tend to get to the bottom of what is going on, especially during those times when I myself can’t even begin to describe what I’m feeling.
Whatever I'm going through, and believe me I've been through some super awkward and embarrassing stuff... Dr Sapp gets where I'm coming from and quickly puts me at ease with funny stories about others who have gone through similar situations.

Been seeing him for years, he spends a lot of time with you and goes above and beyond what other psychiatrists do. Takes the time to know you, assess your needs, recommends multiple treatment options. Like a Psychologist and Psychiatrist in one, but better.

If I lived in another state, I would fly out to see him without a doubt. Very trustworthy and intelligent, paradigm shifted into "unbreakable" within a little over an hour and I've realized how to follow my heart. I'm always so worried about inconveniencing people with my worries, but I don't feel that way way with Dr. Sapp and his amazing staff.

I would recommend Dr. Sapp to anyone needing the uses of am experienced, caring, and compassionate person. I felt like I could really trust him and made me feel like I was talking to someone I've known for 10 years ( not 1 hour )! Ive never liked going to the DR's and now I actually kind of look forward to our next appointment. The atmosphere is really relaxed and pleasant. Also secretary is outstanding and personable (unlike a lot of secretaries). Thanks Dr SAPp with your help my life has been much better!

Dr. Sapp was extremely helpful. His tranquil nature and patience were very calming. He has the gift of comfort and knows what to say to calm you down if you are having difficulty, and is present and attentive. Best doctor I have ever encountered and I highly recommend him.

Doctor was very friendly and knowledgeable. It didn't feel like he was trying to "push" medication onto me. The receptionist was very nice and efficient. I will be going to this doctor for my follow up.

He's good. It was the most helpful appointment I've had, ever. In the past, going to the doctor was somewhat frustrating because it felt like I wasn't getting through or being heard. Dr. Sapp took the time to actually listen and respect my personal experience of the symptoms. His insights shined a light on some of the shadowy areas of my condition, leaving me with a new sense of clarity. Much appreciated. I'm really hopeful about this new treatment plan and ready to get back out into the races.

I went through a few years needing to see a psychiatrist and saw 4 during that time. There was quite a bit of adding of diagnoses I didn't have that just made it all more difficult. Dr. Sapp saw and cut through the nonsense. Treated me for the right diagnoses and empowered me with responsibility of living my own life. All is well back on track largely because he follows The Hippocratic Oath. I thank him.

Dr. Sapp is a very good listener and really takes his time with his patients. Dr. Sapp switched my medication that I had been on for a while and I feel much better without the drowsy feeling the previous medication gave me. His receptionist is welcoming and his office is comfortable and well decorated. Highly recommended psychiatrist!

Dr. Sapp is extremely busy as are all other psychs. I believe he is a good doctor but I have not been successful in getting him to return messages regarding my medication and the wait time that I experienced at his office doesn't make me eager to reschedule. Overall- good doctor. He actually listens instead of just throwing a script at you, however, I don't think I'll be making a second appointment.
