Dr. Todd Soifer is well-regarded throughout the Brooklyn community as an outstanding orthopedic surgeon, and he has won recognitions for his work in almost every realm possible. With over 20 years in practice experience, it’s no surprise that Dr. Soifer has been able to develop a easygoing manner that puts patients at ease, and uncommon medical expertise.
As a leader in orthopedic surgery throughout the New York community, Dr. Soifer has been awarded honors including New York Magazine's "Best Doctors List" for multiple years, as well as a listing on America’s Top Surgeons by the Consumer's Research Council. Dr. Soifer sits at the height of his field in positions as both Chief of Orthopedics at Beth Israel Medical Center Kings Highway Division, and Medical Director at the hospital’s Ambulatory Surgicenter. He began his training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Soifer’s internship was in general surgery at the renowned State University of New York Health Science Center, and he completed a second residency in orthopedic surgery at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center.
In his private-practice setting, Dr. Soifer is proud to bring his patients strictly modern technology and equipment. When he has time off, he loves to spend it with his children and play and watch sports. A big outdoorsman, he also loves boating. Dr. Soifer’s office can provide services in English, Spanish, and Russian.

The waiting time has tremendously improved. My appointment was at 1 pm and I was out at 2 pm. That's because I had to take an x Ray. Everyone was extremely nice and proffecional. Dr. Soifer was authentic, knowledgeable and very informative. I will go back again if need be.

My visit to Dr. Soifer was great! The staff was helpful and attentive. They got me in to see the doctor quickly, and were very patient with me (i have a knee injury so i'm a little slow getting around).
The doctor was thorough. He examined my x-rays and even contacted the where I had an MRI done (ordered by a different doctor) to get more information in order to do a full assessment of the damage. He walked me through all the things he saw wrong, then had his sports orthopedist come in to speak with me since I injured myself working out.
He was so good I canceled surgery with another doctor so I could work with him and his team.
