Dr. Perlstein earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona, Tucson. He completed both his internal medicine internship and residency at Emory University. He finished two fellowships, one in cardiovascular disease and the other in hypertension, at Brigham and Women's Hospital, part of Harvard University. He also holds a master’s degree in medical science from Harvard University.
Dr. Perlstein is board certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Prior to joining Tri-City Cardiology, he served as an instructor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and an associate physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
