Dr. Todd E. Samuelson has been board certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery for 20 years. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology. Dr. Samuelson was the first to perform minimally invasive sinus surgery, minimally invasive thyroid surgery, and balloon sinuplasty in Fort Worth. He has since taught fellow surgeons the balloon sinuplasty technique. Dr. Samuelson is awarded "Top Doc in Fort Worth" annually. He has served as Chief of Surgery at Harris Southwest Hospital and Vice Chief of Surgery at All Saints Hospital. Dr. Samuelson also serves as the Fort Worth Opera Physician and as a team physician at Fort Worth Country Day. He has served on the board of Easter Seals in Fort Worth. In his spare time, he provides health education at his parish, Holy Family Catholic Church.
Dr. Samuelson grew up between Chicago, IL, and Galveston, TX. He received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in 1982. He then returned to Galveston and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, in 1986. He completed his internship and residency in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery there before moving to Fort Worth in 1991. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 27 years, Dede, and their four children: Madeleine, Annie, Emily, and Thomas. Dr. Samuelson has been the assistant scoutmaster of his son's Boy Scout troop and coached his daughters' soccer teams for 10 years. He is also a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

I was being seen to treat my impacted ears. The appointment was only about 5 minutes long. He never told me anything about my ears or how to fix my problem. He was very vague and didnt tell me any kind of diagnosis or prevention measures. He didnt listen to my concerns and I dont believe he understood my questions.

I loved Dr. Samuelson! He took his time and I never felt like he was in a rush. He was very personable and funny. He seemed to know exactly what I had and gave great suggestions to correct issue. I highly recommend hin. He's nurse was also very sweet and kind. They front office was also very nice and always smiling. This was my first time there and I was very impressed!

I mainly went to Dr. Samuelson because of his knowledge in sinus problems. Not a fan of waiting 45 minutes before I saw him and his bedside manner when examining patients is a little too brusque. I did get some answers I was looking for, so that's good.

Vertigo as if I did not know that already been dealing with this almost 2 years but did not know this already have prior diagnosis of Endolymphatic Hydrops/Meniers fluid does not just disappear just in that MRI it did as not my head someone slipped wrong disc in package and sent it as mine also had active Hydrocephalus missing on this scan weird how that disappears a month after found missing in that MRI no one knows how this happened just keep using same CD MRI of not my head so how do you know there is no fluid in my ears or head when cannot see an MRI of mine needs to be redone and replaced in files and do not broad spectrum take away supplements or talk about diet when you know nothing about what I take or eat or that since 2005 have dropped 110 pounds to a fit 150 pounds from 260 and take supplements very seriously only put in body what I have researched and know I need as lacking in even my picky diet.

Initially I felt the Dr was condescending and not listening to my concerns. He cut me off repeatedly and challenged my understanding of what I felt was happening with my body. The first 15 minutes felt like a sparing match and I found myself becoming increasingly frustrated to the point of wanting to walk out. After expressing my concerns to him, he modified his approach and became much warmer and compassionate. I walked away feeling cared about and helped. I chalked it all up to bad timing and don't hold the initial experience against him too much.

I was so impressed with Dr. Samuelson. He was my second opinion for a medical problem and I plan to treat with him instead. I highly recommend him. Would be nice if they added a TV to the waiting room, but not a deal-breaker for sure.

Very polite and courteous staff. Dr Samuelson was easygoing and knowledgeable. I felt like my issue was addressed in a timely manner without being rushed or cut short. I would definitely recommend him!

Very nice! He took his time with me & not only verbally explained everything to me, he also gave me a printed form with the same information. I really appreciated this because it seems I always forget at least half of what doctors tell me.
