Dr. Todd E. Schlesinger is a Board Certified Dermatologist, Dermasurgeon and Cosmetic Dermatologist committed to providing the highest quality professional skin care in a warm, friendly and compassionate environment.
Graduating magna cum laude and with Phi Beta Kappa honors from the State University of New York at Buffalo he was accepted to medical school at the State University at Buffalo School of Medicine during his sophomore year in college. As a recipient of a National Cancer Institute Fellowship at the internationally recognized Roswell Park Cancer Center he earned the opportunity to work with globally acknowledged dermasurgeons in the field of skin cancer resection. Following his training path, he completed his internship and dermatology residency at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where he authored multiple publications and posters presented at national meetings.
After residency, Dr. Schlesinger completed the requisite training and testing to become a Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery and has trained in dermatologic surgery at the Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

The actual visit was fine. I waited in the waiting room 35 minutes after I checked in and then in the procedure room another 10. He speaks really quickly so you have to pay really close attention.

I was a new patient and everyone at the office was so accommodating! My Dr. Was very understanding and helpful! The receptionist and the women who checked me out were so sweet and personable!! They really understand why I was there and gave me several options to help get the results I was looking for.

The staff and environment were top notch but it was 75 minutes after my appt time before I was seen by the doctor. Meeting the doctor for the first time in nothing but my underwear was a little odd. I was able to complete the questionnaire pretty quickly on their iPad, but I'm sure that some people could have problems with it. I don't know if they offered an option to fill it out online beforehand, but I didn't see any notices about it. A hospital gown that could have been easily removed would have been nice especially since I was left in the room alone for so long. At least the temperature, view, and music were pleasant.

I was left feeling very uncomfortable after my appointment with Dr. Schlesinger. I am getting married in April and made this appointment to clear up some acne problems that I have struggled with for a long time. However, I felt like Botox injections were being pushed on me throughout my appointment. After telling the doctor that I was, a) only 26 and b) not too keen on putting that into my body and that I'd have to do some serious research before I even thought about doing that, he proceeded to use the "everybody is doing it" approach and made a Botox plan for me in their system. While he did try to briefly educate me on the "safety" of the injection, it was presented in a very pushy manner. While I am sure that he is great at what he does, I was not pleased with my experience.

Dr Schlesinger really cares about his patients. He is the Dr to go to want to keep your skin healthy. I found him after I had melanoma. He also excels in treatments to battle the aging process. I have used both
