Dr. Smith, co-founder of T2 Health, is an Arizona-licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor with over 14 years of experience and a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Endocrinology. He is a board-certified Naturopathic Endocrinologist specializing in Integrative Endocrinology. His clinical focus includes male hormone and metabolic imbalances, as well as men’s sexual health.
Dr. Smith earned his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Sonoran University of Health Sciences and attended medical school at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences (SCNM) in Tempe, Arizona. During his studies, he served as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for many faculty members (MDs and PhDs) and was actively involved in volunteering, medical missions, and student mentoring programs. Continuing his passion for teaching, Dr. Smith became an adjunct faculty member at SCNM, where he taught and supervised medical students. He also served as an adjunct faculty member at Allied Health Schools in the Valley, teaching anatomy, physiology, and basic pathology.
Dr. Smith is not your typical doctor. He believes it’s not about simply relying on a handful of medications to keep your symptoms at bay; it’s about working with you to identify and address the root causes of your conditions. It’s about addressing the whole you, with diet and lifestyle as the foundation of healing and lifelong health and well-being. He uses diet and lifestyle modifications, combined with testing, nutritional supplementation, and when needed, medications and procedures, to address your individual needs and goals.
