Dr. Tom T. Nguyen is a thorough and compassionate board-certified OB-GYN specialist who has been in practice more than 30 years.
Dr. Nguyen attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He received his specialty training in OB/GYN also at the same institution. He was elected chief of the OB/GYN department at Memorial Southwest Hospital from 2006-2008. In 2019, he was selected Physician of the Year at Memorial Sugar Land Hospital.
Dr. Nguyen firmly believes that patient communication and education are essential in providing the best healthcare for the patients. The personal, friendly approach and a comfortable environment allow him to take the time to address any medical concerns that you might have to build a long-lasting professional relationship.
After many years of delivering thousands of healthy babies, Dr. Nguyen no longer accepts new pregnant patients. His practice is now limited to gynecology only. Patients visiting Dr. Nguyen can still receive a full range of gynecological services including annual well women exam, family planning, menopausal or hormonal issues, as well as treatment for vaginal or bladder infections, STD screening, sexual dysfunction and other gynecologic problems...
Many procedures can be performed in the office including Labiaplasty, Minerva endometrial ablation for patients with heavy periods. The diagnosis and treatment of patienst with leaking of urine on coughing or sneezing are also available. The office is also equipped with Endosee hysteroscope which can be used to provide diagnostic hysteroscopy without the risks of general anesthesia.
Dr. Nguyen is proficient in performing all gynecologic minimally invasive surgeries including the state-of-the-art laparoscopic hysterectomy and single-site hysterectomy via the da Vinci robotic technique for quick recovery and less scarring.
