Dr. Tom Ronay took a nontraditional path to medicine, having first begun his career as a German teacher before deciding to make a career switch. After medical school, he served as a flight surgeon and medical director in the U.S. military, and primary care physician at One Medical.
He feels it's important to review each patient's full health history in order to address important issues that may have been ignored and are holding them back in their journey towards health.

Great bedside manner. Helpful. Explained things. Had a skin condition incorrectly diagnosed by a specialist that he figured out immediately. The appointment felt collaborative in approaching my health. Honesty, I usually just settle for competent with doctors and Dr. Ronay was that and more.

Dr. Ronay had a great demeanor and took me back right away, but did not really do anything. I just moved to town and haven't had a general physical/check-up in 2 years. I scheduled him and he asked me a few general medical history questions, and then sent me off. He couldn't do the bloodwork in his own office, he took no vitals, and really didn't do anything. Plus the lab he sent me to for the bloodwork is highly backed up. Probably won't go back and would advise you to seek out an office that can do most basic functions in house. This is the first dr office I've been to where they couldn't even draw blood.

Doctor Tom Ronay has been an absolute pleasure to talk to. He is amiable, a good listener, focused, unhurried, practical, straight forward, and casual. I dislike those that put on airs, that think being detached and aloof is professional. Doc Ronay gets it, he's genuine and passionate. It's very easy to be honest with him. To me, that makes him one of the best Medical Professionals I have ever dealt with and hopefully my new GP (if I can make the distance work).
