Tonya Carter is a board-certified Family Nurse practitioner with over 20 years of Health Care experience. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from University of Alabama Tuscaloosa, AL and MSN from Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio. Ms. Carter has provided primary health care to Central Ohio residents over the past 10years. Working in larger networks she recognized that the days of lasting provider patient relationships were fading. That is where the idea of NP2GO Health and Wellness Clinic was born. It was created to be a health care home for patients who wanted a partner in their healthcare. When Ms. Carter isn’t working, she enjoys working on a DIY project or spending time with her family.

Poor attendance. I had to wait for 30 minutes before my vitals were taken. A trainee examined me and the doctor just prescribed med. ever since I left the clinic it’s three weeks today I have been calling to let them know my meds need’s authorization but no one is picking nor calling me back. This is the worst medical practitioner to ever meet. This practitioner doesn’t care .further examination is needed. I will never recommend nor go back there never ever.

I had questions my doctor didn’t help me or answer anything and basically told me that I didn’t pay for enough time for her to explain certain issues. She was late to get me to come back to the room and then acts like it’s my fault that she didn’t have enough time between patients yet I was the only person there in the waiting room from the time I got there and even when I was leaving. Still haven’t gotten results back.

Dr. Carter was a delight!! She asked lots of thorough questions at my first visit which was also my yearly physical. She addressed any and all concerns and made me feel like a valued patient not a number. She never made me feel ashamed or unhealthy which happens with some doctors when you are overweight and on any kind of medicine. I will be back and taking my family as well!!
