Dr. Traci Hahn has never forgotten the impact that a little extra time and care can have on a patient’s quality of life. She experienced eye problems at a young age. Her first-hand experience has shaped her into the empathetic and caring doctor that she is today.
At just 10 months old, she developed eye problems that were affecting the quality of her life. Her parents took her to numerous doctors that didn’t take the time to listen or find a solution for her vision problem. Finally, a doctor was able to help her and began working to correct her condition. Without this help, she would have had permanent vision loss.
Today, her passion, and true empathy allows her to relate to patients better than most doctors, and the resulting care benefits her patients every time they sit in her exam chair.
Dr. Traci Hahn was accepted into the school of optometry a year early, after testing out of her undergraduate degree, an honor given to less than 3% of students. She then graduated from the University of Missouri - St. Louis with honors in 2006.
After working in corporate practice for years, she could see that patients weren’t receiving the consistent levels of care and service that they rightfully deserved. So she opened her own practice, Contemporary Vision Center because of her desire to bring a better level of care and service to patients in St. Louis. Every detail of Contemporary Vision Center is the result of their passion for doing what is right by the patient.

Dr. Traci Hahn is everything I would ask for in a doc.! I had never met or heard of her before ( I went with a Social Living coupon) and I accidentally hit gold. The location is a bit further than I'd usually travel for a doc, and I originally had no intention of following up after I'd used my coupon, but she is now my official optho. for life. The extra travel is more than worth it.
