Born and raised in Santa Fe, NM, Tracy Martin is a dedicated Physician Assistant with 25 years of experience practicing medicine.
She earned her degree in Biology from the University of New Mexico (UNM) before advancing her studies in the UNM School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program, where she began her medical career in 1999.
Tracy has a strong focus on family medicine and has also gained valuable experience in pediatrics and University Health. From 2010 to 2012, she took a hiatus while her husband, Dr. Patrick Martin, practiced medicine in rural Australia. During this time, Tracy worked part-time as a teacher’s assistant in the Flinders University Nursing Program.
Tracy has a deep passion for medicine and believes that effective healthcare cannot be achieved in 15-minute visits. She values building meaningful relationships with her patients, understanding that they are more than their diagnoses. Tracy collaborates with her patients to create individualized care plans, empowering them with the tools they need to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Tracy is happily married to Dr. Martin, whom she met during PA school, and they are proud parents of three beautiful adult children.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, exercising, and seeking out new travel adventures.
