Dr. Bias had excellent bedside manner. I felt listened to and everything was explained to me in detail. I didn’t feel like he was rushing me through the appointment like I have felt with other providers. The doctor showed concern and the communication through his practice’s app is excellent.

Dr. Travis Bias is proud to be a member of Circle Medical, a digital-first, patient-focused experience that makes quality care more accessible than ever.
Dr. Travis Bias has practiced primary care in multiple settings including small group, employer-based, and telemedicine practices. He prefers to focus on prevention, when possible, and he enjoys educating patients regarding managing chronic diseases, such as risk factors for heart attack and stroke like hypertension and diabetes. His main medical interest is in travel medicine, providing pre-travel consults so that patients stay healthy while abroad. This is informed both by personal experience - studying, working, and teaching for a total of a year-and-half in East Africa - and also by obtaining a Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine in Tanzania and Uganda. Travis met his now-wife in a US Peace Corps program, which is how he made his way to Oakland, CA, where he enjoys hiking with his wife, running, and playing tennis.
