Dr. Shockley isn't just a great doctor, he actually cares about his patients unlike many pain doctors I have seen. He takes time to sit down and listen to your problems and tries to help you in any way he can. He feels like a member of my family. His staff are wonderful too.

Dr. Tristan Shockley grew up in San Diego, CA and relocated to the east coast to complete his educational training. At Howard University he graduated magna cum laude with a major in Chemistry and minor in Biology. He matriculated to Howard University's College of Medicine where he completed his medical degree in 2005. After completing a medical internship in Phoenix, AZ he went on to specialty training in the field of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore/University of Maryland.
As an American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation certified physician, Dr. Tristan Shockley's interests include musculoskeletal medicine, non-surgical interventional pain medicine including fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided procedures, weight management, prolotherapy, and other general physiatric treatments. Dr Schokley has great bedside manner and takes the time to listen to ones concerns. He seems to be more knowledgeable than some of the specialist that I will not be seeing anymore. My only complaints are that the waiting room is extremely small and uncomfortable and on my last visit I waited two hours to see the good doctor.

I've had a pretty rough year, I have no one to bring me to appointments,.. I. Can only make it in for my appointment on the 15th if I can get my appointment changed to the first appointment, when doors open. My ride has late to work for bringing me in, we got there 1/2 hour early. Then we had to wait two hours to be seen. He was almost fired... I need to know if this change could be made for my appointment on the 15th. Please, I do need to see you.

The only complaint I have about my visit is the waiting room is entirely too small. Patients are coming here because they are in pain and when you are in pain you don't want to have to stand because there are no seats in the waiting room.

However, He needs to talk with his staff about OVER SCHUDULING! They need to NOT OVER SCHUDULE HIM! So that his patients Don't Have To WAIT FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR!

Very long wait time every time. Small waiting room without enough chairs and they are uncomfortable. Every time I saw him I was beyond irritated by the time I was actually seen. Life is too short to sit around waiting forever for a doctor to see you.

I think Dr. Shockley is a kind, caring Dr. that does want to just manage your medication management, but also cares about how to fix the problem. He also has a wonderful bedside manner.

I have been seeing Dr. Shockley for 6 years now. He is 1 of the best doctors I have been a patient of. I unfortunately have a lot of nerve problems and Dr. Shockley is still there by my side working to find a way to reverse the damage. I have found, through looking for another doctor closer to home, that I am actually very grateful for the patience, kindness, and happiness of Dr. Shockley. I would recco him for a family member. He's a smart, nice, genuine, happy individual which helps with the pain I am in:-(
