More about Dr. Udit Chaddha, MD

Dr. Chaddha completed his training in Interventional Pulmonology at the University of Chicago. He specializes in airway procedures including ablative techniques (including laser, APC, cautery, cryotherapy and photodynamic therapy) and stents, diagnostic and navigational bronchoscopy including robotic bronchoscopy, bronchoscopic lung volume reduction, bronchial thermoplasty, endobronchial ultrasound, indwelling pleural catheter placement and thoracoscopy for pleural biopsies and pleurodesis. Dr. Chaddha's research interests include endobronchial ultrasound, robotic bronchoscopy and airway ablative techniques. He has authored several articles on a variety of topics in interventional pulmonology. His work has been presented at national meetings and published in esteemed peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Chaddha is a member of the American Association of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology and is actively involved in peer education through the same. Dr. Chaddha was born and raised in Mumbai, India and moved to the US for his medical training. He now lives in New York City and enjoys his free time traveling and playing golf.
