Dr. Menon completed her medical training in India, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine from Jamaica (West Indies), and then moved to the Unites States to complete a residency in Neurology (2009) from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. This was followed by a Fellowship in Neurophysiology (2010) from the Cleveland Clinic (Ohio).
Dr. Menon was awarded ‘Fellow’ status by the American Epilepsy Society (2017) and American Clinical Neurophysiology Society (2017), and she is the current Chair of the Education section of the IDEAS (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Anti-Racism and Social Justice) taskforce of the American Neurological Association. She is an ardent patient and physician advocate and routinely participates in educational forums for professionals, patients and general public.
