Vandana Sharma is an attentive and intelligent neurologist based in Falls Church, VA. Dr. Sharma earned her medical degree from the Medical College, Baroda in India. She completed her internship training at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and accomplished her residency training at the St. Vincent Catholic Medical Center in New York, NY. Dr. Sharma also participated in a post-residency fellowship in electromyography and neuromuscular diseases at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Sharma is passionate about electromyography research and the diagnostic and therapeutic management of neuromuscular diseases, which is evident in the hundreds of studies she has performed both at her solo practice and for other hospitals and neurologists. She is board-certified in sleep medicine as well as psychiatry and neurology.

Poor bedside manner. Didn't spend enough time with the patient. Somewhat argumentive over her testing as it relates to finding out more detail of what exactly brought the patient in to see her as opposed to 100's of other available Neurologists in the DC area.

After seeing this doctor two times I will not be returning. She is brisk and almost rude and made me feel that she could care less about my situation. I've had severe migraines for over a decade and to be brushed off and given up on by this doctor made me extremely disappointed.
In addition, her office staff completely ignored me during my second visit, not even saying hello or bothering to get my payment information. They were being rude to patients both on the phone and in the office and were generally unhelpful and unwelcoming. Overall a very disappointing experience.
