Being so nervous knowing i had to be seen by a cardiologist to begin with; it was more then comforting meeting and seeing Dr Gastwirth. I am a hyper person by nature, and she made me feel relaxed and safe. I felt like everything was going to be ok. Starting with her calm demeanor and how everything was put into motion all the tests and next appts. For a busy doctor, she just seemed to have it all together .

She has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is a member of the Nevada State Medical Association and Clark County Medical Society. Dr. Gastwirth graduated from New York Medical College and completed her residency and served as Chief Resident at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. She completed her cardiology fellowship at Mayo Clinic Arizona. Dr. Gastwirth practices general cardiology while also focusing on women’s health, heart failure and echo including transesophageal echocardiography.

I was very impressed by the professionalism of the staff and the doctor. I didn't have to wait to be seen and the doctor took a good amount of time with me. I never felt rushed and she asked all the right questions.

I am so totally impressed with this young female doctor. She seems to be very efficient, competent and caring. By this I mean she has obviously paid attention, studied and stays up on everything. I think she is very alert and aware of her patients body language, plus she listens to what I am saying and asks any questions to ensure she understands correctly. She is very thorough, as well as patient, yet she has never kept me waiting. All of the staff at both offices are unbelievably great. The only thing is I hate the drive (both offices are so far away from my home) but I love her.

The patient scheduled before me was 30 minutes late for appointment. Rather than have me wait, Dr. Gastwirth called me in and said I shouldn't be penalized for another persons error. I have never had that happen before--the late person is always called in before the people who are on time and have been waiting.
