Doctor Vanita Simma-Chiang was by far the best part of my visit. It was my very first visit to see her and she was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and encouraging. The office itself was Mount Sinai's institution, and it felt cold, run-down, and impersonal; the exact opposite of the doctor who walked into the exam room and spoke with me about my concerns with respect and empathy. I wish Mount Sinai was as good and humane an institution as Dr. Vannita seems to me to be a doctor.

One of the worst healthcare experience. I inquired about treatment option during telehealth visit and the doctor laughed condescendingly, was dismissive of any of legitimate symptoms and would not write a doctor’s note for a telehealth visit. Please stay away if you have any urology concerns.

I would recommend this Dr. The call was quick but she listened to my concerns and was very clear about what options were available to me for treatment. She was professional but friendly.
The only glitch was that when I scheduled the appt I received an email that said I would be sent instructions on how to do the virtual call. I never received them. However when I reached out to the office one of the staff members was very helpful in getting me set up so that I could participate in the call. Unfortunately it required us to reschedule but they did so for the same day.
I would schedule another virtual appointment with them if necessary.
