Dr. Hurtado was very nice and thorough, made sure that I understood everything and that all my questions were answered. But the wait time was so long! I’m sure part of it was having to meet new protocol because of COVID-19, but the main waiting area was still packed. All in all, I probably spent less than 10 minutes actually being seen by nurses/the doctor, and 1.5 hrs waiting.

I’m very impressed with the level of care. She is very thorough and suggested I get genetic testing, which I hadn’t thought about but is a good idea since I have certain diseases that run in my family. She is very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable.

Dr. Hurtado's commitment to excellence has followed her wherever she has gone. Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Hurtado graduated Valedictorian from Francisco de Miranda National Experimental University Medical School. In 2007 she received her Masters in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Summa Cum Laude, from Central University of Valenzuela, and completed post-residency training in Gynecological Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Pelvic Floor Surgery at Austral University in Argentina.
After moving to the United States, Dr. Hurtado completed her residency in OB/GYN at the University of Texas in Houston. Fluent in English and Spanish.
As an experienced Board Certified OB/GYN, Dr Hurtado will help you with your female healthcare needs. She provides great prenatal care. Her goal is to provide the best care possible for a exceptional outcome for all patients. She provides health screenings and preventative services as well as family planning. Dr. Hurtado prides herself in proving evidence-based medicine to her patients with compassion, knowledge and skill, while developing with each patient an open and honest relationship.

I was NEVER prescribed a prenatal this was my first pregnancy and I had my son at 23 weeks via emergency c section.
Every appointment I felt I was never being heard and I told her something was wrong I could feel it.
I told her about my job and that I work with chemicals and I was on my feet all day long for 40 hours a week.
I kept asking her about prenatal and I never was prescribed. I’m not saying this is why I had my son early but it definitely added to it.
I would wait in a room for hours actually hours just for her to feel my belly and leave.
I had sever hypertension, preeclampsia and baby had iurg and I didn’t get 5 minutes of her time.
The day I had my son I was going into heart failure and going to have seizures. I was told I had a 50/50 chance of survival and you know what her response was to me Monday morning after I had my son that Sunday “wow I really should have put you on bed rest.”
Take this information as you will.
But I do not recommend her.

I don’t recommend this doctor because She was rushing everything also she had bad attitude like “ok, what else?, ??questions?” wait time was more than 2 hours the place was packed and they are not friendly with kids I’m not going back.

If I could give zero stars I would I waited two hours to be seen then when I was seen she was rushing everything!! There was not enough room for women to be seated and be separated at least 6 feet apart. My appointment was scheduled for 10:30 I didn’t get seen until 1 and didn’t leave until 3. Waste of time and very unprofessional

Dr. Hurtado was very nice and very attentive. She asked a lot of questions regarding my history and offered a lot of testing to help with my problems. She even offered to try to help with my infertility when other OBGyns would just refer me to other fertility clinics. I wish the office would get a makeover and a new nicer look than how it is now. Wait time can be a little long but other than that the staff seemed nice and Dr. Hurtado was excellent!
