Extremely experienced "old school" doctor. Takes his time to go over your case and work out a very comprehensive plan for treatment. Mind you, this is not a state-of-the-art facility, but the tools at his disposal are all he rightly needs to make a proper diagnosis and initiate the appropriate procedures. I saw him for a few consultations, as well as a scope, and a follow-up.

Dr. Groisser earned his medical degree from the State University of New York, Downstate. He received his training in Internal medicine and gastroenterology at The Mount Sinai Medical Center and Montefiore Hospital in New York and with the Cornell Gastroenterology Group at the Manhattan Veterans Hospital, New York Hospital and Bellevue Hospital. He is currently a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, a gastroenterology representative for the Medicare Carrier Advisory Committee and a consultant in gastroenterology at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation.
Dr. Groisser sees patients with all types of GI diseases,
including liver disease, hepatitis, Cirrhosis, heartburn,
difficulty in swallowing, Barrett’s esophagus, reflux
disease, heartburn, gastric and duodenal ulcers, abdominal
pain, abdominal distension, gallbladder disease, pancreatic
disease, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, diarrhea and
constipation, problems with ingestion of foods, Celiac disease, GI cancers, GI Bleeding, treatment and screening for colon cancer, colonoscopies and endoscopies and the newly developed radiofrequency ablation technique for the destruction of Barrett’s esophagus with dysplasia.
