Dr. Padow’s practice employs a mix of psychotherapy and medication management, tailoring treatment to each patient’s specific needs and preferences. She primarily works with adults dealing with depression, anxiety, and difficulty coping with life changes. Occasionally, Dr. Padow may believe that additional therapy would be beneficial and will recommend a therapist also join the care team to ensure
the best outcome.
Dr. Padow received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College, where she studied behavioral neuroscience. She completed her medical training at Tufts University School of Medicine, followed by a psychiatric residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. During residency, she gained extensive clinical experience in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room settings, evaluating and treating patients from diverse socioeconomic situations and with a range of symptoms. During her final year of residency, she received additional training through New York Psychoanalytic Institute’s fellowship program, and she served as Chief Resident of the Consultation-Liaison team, where she honed her clinical skills and supervised junior residents on the service.

Victoria was great! The practice however not so much. Victoria was very thorough and suggested transferring me to another clinician in the practice who specialized in what I was looking for which I great!
The practice itself has a HORRIBLE administrative/customer service team. They sent an email stating I was matched with a new provider and to make an appointment. So I called to make my new appointment only to be told they had no idea why I received that email, that I was in fact NOT matched with another provider and had no explanation as to why. The “administration” staff is a call center who had nothing to say but sorry we don’t know. How cruel is it to send an email to someone seeking help stating they have been matched & to make an appointment only to be told “sorry we didn’t mean to send that email.”

I would have been better off not making the appointment. I don’t think I will use zocdoc again. I was referred to them only to be told they couldn’t help me at the appointment and they would need to refer again to another person on zocdoc.
