Dr. Chitale has been a board certified neurosurgeon for over 30 years and has performed over 10,000 surgical procedures. Dr. Chitale understands the importance of education before a surgical procedure and is dedicated to providing patients with such knowledge when they are given their treatment options. This helps patients feel ease of knowing they are making the right medical decision.
Born in 1954 in a small village near Mumbai, Dr. Vidyadhar S. Chitale was exposed to the rural farm life until he graduated from high school at the age of 14. He has a deep understanding of rural life and has compassion for hard-working people. This understanding and compassion carries over into his medical practice and treatment of his patients and is recognized for it by many.
He attended college in the major metropolis of Mumbai. He then immigrated to the United States where he has been a citizen for the past 30 years. His residency training was completed in New York and Philadelphia. He was also involved in teaching residents the art of neurosurgery from 1986-1993.
