Unfortunately I still had to fill out paperwork at the front desk even though I had submitted my health information through the ZocDoc website. Although Nevada Eye and Ear has not fully embraced paperless technology, Dr. Gassen is an excellent optometrist with a positive attitude and and is highly recommended.

Dr. Vincent Gassen attended Optometry School at Pacific University, College of Optometry. He completed internships at Pacific University Clinic Rotation, an internship under Bruce Wojciechowski, O.D., and Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Dr. Gassen is licensed to practice in California and Nevada and started working with Nevada Eye and Ear in 2000. He has participated in multiple FDA-monitored drug studies. Dr. Gassen has also worked as a research coordinator in genetics and epidemiology of human autoimmune disease, particular rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematous at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Gassen is Board Certified to treat and manage ocular diseases and glaucoma.
Dr. Gassen is currently serving as the President of the Nevada State Board of Optometry. He enjoys working with patients of all ages, but specializes in contact lens fittings and patients that have keratoconus.
