Dr. Vincent S. Scott has limited his practice to the management and care of the non-pregnant woman. With 25 years of patient care experience, Dr. Scott is involved in every aspect of general and surgical gynecology. Now the non-pregnant woman has his complete focus. Dr. Scott is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. After completing his training, Dr. Scott moved to Marietta, GA in 1986. Dr. Scott is on staff at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital and Wellstar Paulding Hospital where he currently admits patients and performs inpatient and outpatient surgery. Dr. Scott is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a also a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG). For many years Dr. Scott served on the Quality Assurance committee at Kennestone Hospital which helps ensure that standard of care guidelines are met by the OB-GYN department.
Dr. Scott's entire career has been spent engaged in direct patient care. This has resulted in a vast experience in all phases of gynecology - both medical and surgical. Over the years he has developed an interest in minimally invasive surgery and specializes in the "no incision" hysterectomy. Dr. Scott stays current by regular attendance at clinical meetings and surgical labs. Dr. Scott has been recertified annually by his speciality board.
In his free time, Dr. Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children. His favorite hobby is cycling. Finally, Dr. Scott volunteers with Remote Area Medical to provide care in rural communities.
