Dr. Vincent Wang came to the United States from Hainan Province, PR China in August 1995. He passed his medical license exams in 1998, and received Doctor Degree of Medicine from The New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002.
He completed his internal medicine residency training at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens in 2005 after which he remained as the medical director of the ETAP (early treatment for admitted patients) unit and performed teaching for the residency program and physician assistants.
Through over ten years of his medical career. Dr. Wang has established a busy primary care practice that involved in and out patient care. Through his effort, Flushing Hospital Medical Center has established a culturally sensitive hospitalist program and he is currently medical director of the program.
With over ten years of practicing medicine in acute setting like taking care of patients in the hospital emergency room and in-patient care, in a sub acute setting as short rehab and nursing home care as well as complex out-patient care in office, Dr. Wang has gain tremendous knowledge and experience in broad spectrum of medical practice and established a sophisticated out-patient practice that is NCQA certified Diabetes Recognition program due to high standard diabetes care and transformed the practice into as level III Patient Centered Medical Home—the highest standard of out-patient primary care practice in the United States.
Dr. Wang has been very actively involved in the physician community and the medical society’s activity. He is currently President of ACAP-Association of Chinese American Physician and board member of ECAP IPA as well as board director of FCMS-Federation of Chinese American and Chinese Canadian Medical Societies.
Dr. Wang believes that with the rapidly changing US healthcare system, we, the physician community needs to join together to best service the general public - patients’ best interest. Dr. Wang is one of the founders and is currently the President of CCACO-Chinese Community Accountable Care Organization who represent more than 200 physician in greater New York area, the first accountable care organization that received license from CMS in New York City and one of the first 27 in USA. He is also one of the most active participating individuals in the most recent New York State Medicaid delivery system reform known as DSRIP. He is one of the founders and board members of the only physician lead PPS known as ACP—Advocate Community Providers, the largest PPS in New York State and is appointed Secretary of the executive board of the largest Chinese physicians group participant known as CPN-Community Providers Network.
Dr. Wang has been actively participated in several different charity organizations. He is the Executive Vice President of the China AIDS Fund organization. He also serves as the Senior President of the International Pen Pal Program leaded the team of US children visited many villages in Henan Province, China where most of the HIV/AIDS affected children/orphans reside. He was also former executive board member of American Cancer Society Asian Initiative

This was a great experience. I came to Dr. Wang's office for a referral but was treated with a superior level of courtesy and hospitality. All of the staff is extremely professional and polite. This is a modern space right in the heart of Flushing.
There is also free parking (2 hours), though I wish I had known this beforehand. I will keep this is mind for my next visit.
