This was my first visit to see Dr. Nguyen, and it was the best experience I have ever had at the optometrist, and I've been going to an optometrist for over 40 years. He was so knowledgeable, explained everything, on time and pleasant personality; and he answered all my questions clearly and helped me make a good decision about the choices I had for what I needed and wanted for my vision at this time (glasses with progressive lenses, vs. multifocal contact lenses, vs monofocal etc.)

they had knowledgeable answers to all my health and wellness questions! It was very refreshing; especially, compared to other offices in the area. definitely coming back :D!

Dr. Vinh Nguyen completed his undergraduate studies at Trinity University in San Antonio, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. He then obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. Dr. Nguyen has been practicing optometry since 2014 and has been with Crown Vision Center since early 2017. He decided to become an optometrist because his brother is an optometrist, and he wanted to follow in his footsteps. Today, his favorite part of the job is simply getting to meet new people each day.

I have been around and seen many, many doctors in my medical career. Dr. Nguyen is top tier. He has incredible bedside manner, and he really cares about his patients. He takes the time to explain everything and answers all questions. The staff is also so very kind and helpful. I’m thankful I’ve found a new eye doctor since moving to the area. I cannot recommend this office/staff enough.

Dr. Nguyen will be my permanent eye doctor, going forward. He truly listens and took his time with me. He got my script just right, after TSO had it so wrong, which had caused me headaches. The office staff is equally amazing and caring. They took their time helping me pick out a new pair of glasses and didn’t rush. And this was all on a Saturday:) You guys/gals are the BEST!

Where do I start? Best experience for myself and my 10 year old getting glasses EVER! The doctor was AMAZING and the staff was PHENOMENAL! Super helpful, listened, and gave me real answers with explanations! Not that doctor jargon that no one really understands. Real people talking to you like you’re a real person. I would 100% recommend as a lifetime glasses girl! (and daughter has had them since 5!) This will be our new GO-TO spot for great service and glasses on the side!
