Dr. Morrison has been practicing medicine for over 10 years and is a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician. Since beginning his career in medicine, Dr. Morrison has demonstrated a distinct commitment to patient care with a team oriented mindset and a compassionate ethos. Dr. Morrison enjoys cultivating a positive physician-patient experience through effective communication and strong collaboration with other physicians.
Dr. Morrison is a native of Miami, Florida and received his Bachelor of Science-Biology from the University of Miami; a Master of Science from Barry University; and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has earned his stripes in the health field for the last 20 years as he has worked in variety of clinical settings including the Veterans Administration Hospital, Columbia Hospital, and most recently Aventura Hospital. In his early years in medicine, he participated in health fairs, blood drives, facilitated research, served as a peer mentor in a summer science program, and taught science at a local high school in Hialeah.
Dr. Morrison belongs to several professional organizations, including but not limited to the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, the American College of Osteopathic Internal Medicine Physicians and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.

Dr. Volrick Morrison, was a professional and very caring doctor. He was educating me on many life health issues. Now on the other hands one or two of his staff was not professional and came across bossy. I needed time to file out many papers and two of his staff liked me to just sign without fully reading what I was signing.
