Vu Doan Theriot, MD, attended Baylor College of Medicine, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 1986. From there, he completed both an internship and a Family Medicine residency with Baylor Family Practice Program in 1987 and 1989, respectively. After time in private practice, Dr. Theriot joined Kelsey-Seybold in January 2024. As a physician, Dr. Theriot enjoys that he can interact with and help people while applying science and technology to solve problems. In his Family Medicine practice, he sees patients with diverse problems ranging from acute upper respiratory infections to more chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and mood disorders such as anxiety and depression. Dr. Theriot is particularly interested in helping patients prevent diseases with diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes. His favorite part of practicing medicine is following up with patients to learn that the treatment plan they created together has made a difference in their lives.
