I highly recommend Dr. Williams! I am new to the area and am starting from scratch with finding doctors. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Williams and his staff. He was very thorough and explained his reasoning for sending me for certain tests. He offers late appointments twice a week which I think is a huge plus if you work full-time. He will definitely be my primary care physician going forward.

We are in North Oakland a few blocks from Berkeley and close to Alta Bates and Children's Hospital. We make sure to spend time with our patients and we are as prompt as possible to respond to the needs of those who seek our assistance.
Dr. Williams has traveled extensively including working in two hospitals in Honduras and working in Ghana, West Africa. He is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Williams enjoys teaching and helping others become more knowledgeable about his or her medical condition. Never received test data after appointment (apparently the office flooded, but I did not receive a follow up). Had to return for a follow up since I was not informed I should not eat before my appointment (just a physical).

I was very comfortable which was something I was concerned with the doctor being male, but he was very professional and I was at ease. I felt comfortable speaking with him about my health and personal details. The process was efficient. My only suggestion would be the presentation of the building. It lacks a clean fresh appearance from the outside and in the hallways. Though the office itself was satisfactory. I plan to return.

He was very personable and spent as much time with me as I needed to help understand and figure out what was going on with me. Very easy to talk to and Susie at the front desk was very sweet and very easy to work with. It's a very small office but it feels more personal that way. I look forward to being able to work with them for future visits.
