Dr Yassir and his team have been fantastic in treating my sons broken arm, going through surgeries and Physical Therapy and he was finally cleared. The whole experience with the team at children’s was amazing and I would highly recommend anyone with children bring them here and skip the local hospital or clinic.

Went for a presurgery visit to ask him all the questions we had about my daughter's surgery. He was so nice, answered all of our questions and took his time to make sure we were good. He even asked my baby (9 year old) if she had any questions and told her if she remembers any questions to ask him the morning of the surgery!! If anyone was to do the surgery for my daughter, it would be no one other than Dr. Walid Yassir! Thank you for being the doctor you are and for being honest and amazing!

We've been coming to Children's Orthopedic office to see Dr. Yassir for about eight years and we could not be more happy. The check in staff, the x-ray techs, the Nurse Practitioners, "Miss" Lynne & Dr. Yassir always go out of their way to make sure we have THE BEST visit. It's a great feeling when you have a bunch of nerves built up at each appointment, but you truly still look forward to your visit. My daughter is now sixteen and there has been such a positive impact on her that she is going to pursue a premed major at MSU. We're so very grateful for the experiences we have had over the years.

Dr. Yassir is our “doctor of hope.” When the rest of the medical community told us our child would not live, he believed otherwise. Pre-COVID, his office was very family-friendly (local mandates no longer allow this). Dr. Yassir takes time with families to discuss anything that needs to be discussed, and he is not impulsive regarding surgeries. I highly recommend Dr. Yassir!

Amazing office of caring staff. In less than 90 minutes my son was checked in as a new patient, went through triage, had an xray, saw the nurse practitioner, saw the doctor and devised a plan and even saw the durable medical equipment rep that fit my son with a knee brace we took home with us! So easy and a breath of fresh air to deal with all of those things at 1 appointment!
