I attended Emory University and obtained my BSN, MN, and an MPH. I have been a nurse for 25 years and a midwife for 23 years. My past clinical and academic career consist of a legal nursing consultant, clinical academic in nursing, and worked for three years in home health/hospice care. My greatest joy comes from educating patients about their pregnancies and bringing forth their babies into the world. For me, the birthing of a baby never gets old. I am committed to providing the best medical care to all my patients from the very young teenager to the menopausal, aging patient. Providing healthcare to my patients is my passion over the past 25 years. My clinical skills include the provision of prenatal care, low-risk vaginal birth, GYN care, cervical and vaginal colposcopy, cryosurgery of the cervix, performance of HSG, LEEPs, insertions of IUDs, Nexplanon for all patients of appropriate age groups.
I want to provide all patients with the kind of healthcare I would want for my family. I am a mother of four—three boys and a girl—and a grandmother of five—three granddaughters and two grandsons—but I still enjoy what I do. In my spare time, I am with my two dogs and enjoy going for walks. I enjoy reading, as well as watching movies.
