I really liked the service and nurse provided, however the staff at the front was not as welcoming. No one smiled to greet you and when I said good morning it was as if no one heard me. I said itagain and the Male turned around. Took me a little back. Once I got to the back s completely different vibe. Nurse and doctor were extremely welcoming.

After all the good reviews, I was terribly disappointed with my visit. Disregarding having to fill out all my paperwork when I showed up (they claimed they couldn't receive the Zocdoc paperwork), I was not seen until an hour after myscheduled time. The rest of my dissatisfaction cannot be published due to zocdoc review guidelines, but Dr.Brandes did a poor job of communicating with me and I will be seeking a new doctor.

Even tho I'd seen this dr. before, my wait was over 90 minutes. Many other patients who came in after me were seen before I was, not sure if this was because of my insurance or making my appt. thru thissite? Then I needed a script right away for an infection, and he prescribed something my insurance doesn't even cover! I called the pharmacy to see why the script was not ready, and they now have to wait 2 days until this office is open again and get him to write a different prescription that my insurance actually does cover. Even tho this was an emergency script. Not recommended.

Dr. Brandes performed a surgical procedure involving the removal of my ore-auricular pit and proximal sinus following reoccurring bouts of infection. Dr. Brandes is very professional and direct, which I apprecise greatly. Cosmeticallyspeaking, I couldn't be more pleased. I'd seen numerous YouTube videos of the procedure and didn't have high hopes of having such an aesthetically pleasing outcome. I don't even think I will have a scar. Dr. Brandes also has a great bedside manner and followed up with me, directly, the day after my procedure. His office called as well. Needless to say, I was very impressed and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of an exceptional E.N.T.

Waited over an hour past my appt time to be seen. Nurse practitioner spent a good deal of time with me. But the doctor spent a grand total of about 3 minutes with me. He was dismissive and cold. And hejust sent me for some standard tests. I will certainly get a second opinion. This office is a joke.

The way the staff and the doctor treats patience it's disrespectful and unprofessional. I found the doctor just to talk and not listen to what I had to say, it's very disgusting the way that they run their office. Don't go there!

No tact, rude, insensitive. Had to wait standing up over an hour, then wait in the room for half and hour. Was lied to about when and where a procedure could be done, he just didn't want to do it whenI was there, so he made me come back another day when he wouldn't be there. Nurses informed me that this was not supposed to happen this way. Accused me of making my symptoms up, I guess because it isn't a easy overnight fix with medication.

Dr. Brandes is fantastic! I went in for a sudden hearing loss in my right ear. His Resident told me all of the possibilities of why it could happen. Both looked in my ear for blockage or infection, also in mynose and throat, but saw none. They suggested a week long treatment of steroids. Also, just to tackle it right away, an immediate steroid injection into my actual ear. My hearing is slowly coming back. In addition, when he found out that my mom had slowly had worse hearing, then suddenly lost it on day, then found out she had an auto-immune disease, a rare one, he ordered more testing, which was great! I got a series of blood tests to look for possible genetic markers for auto-immune disorders, and he also ordered an MRI. He was all around thorough, very nice, concerned, and I did not have to wait long at all! I go back in a week to go over my testing results with him. I highly recommend Dr. Brandes! He operates out of a few different locations, I saw him at the St. John's Medical Building at 11 Mile and Dequindre. His entire office staff was very nice and helpful too. His Residents working under him were great. Go see him and his team if you need an E, N, & T specialist! You won't be disappointed.

The visit went great for my first time! Filled out some dreaded paperwork which is always the worst part and waited to be called. I was only there for an ear cleaning which went by without a problem. I went throughtheir process of an hearing test which was pretty quick, then I discussed some thing with the doctor and he accommodated nicely enough for me. 10/10 visit.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Brandes yesterday and was not impressed! I had a 4:15pm appt and was told to arrive early, I was not seen however until 5:50!! The appointment lasted all of 10 mins with him tellingme I had to come back to get some test done. When I went to schedule the tests at the front desk the next available day was almost two months away! So basically I had to sit in a waiting room for almost two hours to be told that I couldn't really find out what was wrong with me for another two months! Very disappointing!!
