He grew up, went to college and medical school in Southern California. Dr. Anderson came to San Francisco in 1993. In 2000, Dr. Anderson was invited to serve a five-year term as the Director of Pain Management and Spine Center. In 2005, Dr. Anderson was invited to join the Neuroscience Institute of California Pacific Medical Center.

Dr. Anderson was excellent. Very professional, shared a lot of information regarding my issue. He seemed like he really cared about me as a person. He is also a good looking man which is a bonus. I really enjoy my visit with the doctor, would go back to him and I would highly recommend him to others. He is awesome!

I have been seeking answers about a mysterious, undiagnosed abdominal pain for over 6 years and recently moved to San Fran dreading the inevitable retelling of my saga to doctors with their own (albeit previously unproven) ideas of what it could be. This usually leads to numerous time consuming and expensive tests that would probably not lead to an answer. Dr Anderson listened to my tale and diagnosed my disorder, told me all about it and the treatment options, and ended my seemingly forever quest for an answer. I would have cried tears of pure joys if I wasn't cracking up laughing and smiling so much from our conversation! I am so excited to find a doctor that can finally treat me with confidence and that doesn't make me feel guilty for seeking treatment (20's woman with unknown abdominal pain, doctors have told me its probably in my head and have accused me of drug seeking). In summary, Dr Anderson has a wonderful personality, great conversation skills, extremely professional, knowledgeable, funny, and just an amazing doctor all around. I couldn't have found anyone better for my care.

I thought he was one of the best doctor i ever have been to,, i am a nurse and my husband has a severe brain injury so doctor's are many in our lives, BUT Dr Anderson was way above 95% of them.
